High School Program:

Because of the intensity of high school curriculum and the addition of credit requirements for graduation, our high school students meet one-on-one weekly with a Highly Qualified Subject Teacher to develop assignments, review work and complete any assessments, all based on the California Content Standards.  Concentrating on two subjects at a time, usually a core and an elective course, allows the student to move at his/her own pace and encourages focus, enabling optimum use of time when adding workshops, activities and/or college courses.  Students complete five credits in each subject and between 30-40 credits each semester. The student’s education is guided by a supervising teacher who directs and mentors the student on his/her high school journey. Students are afforded the opportunity to attend a second day/time during the week for additional instruction with the same Highly Qualified Subject Teacher in small group settings. Additionally, students are welcome to work onsite on other days during the week.

We have many courses that meet the A-G college requirements. We also offer the students the opportunity to complete courses at the community colleges in the area, earning both high school and college credits simultaneously.

In addition to the above, Bayshore offers a variety of workshops, enrichment programs, student activities, community service opportunities, and clubs to enrich, enhance and support the students’ academic program.

At Bayshore, we strive to provide a quality learning environment that has purpose and meaning behind it. If any of this sounds like a program that meets your needs, come try us out, give us a call for more details or pre-enroll on this website and we will contact you.
